Customer Need
Customer had a quality recall on 200 AC stators for >1,000hp motors that they had produced internally that needed to be replaced with new stators ASAP in order to mitigate customer down-time and major project liabilities.
200 new stators within 3 months, including stack and weld of cores, production of coils, winding, VPI and cabling. Similar units had been produced for Customer before but the line had been out of production for several years. The production schedule required hiring and training 62 new employees within 4 weeks.
