Customer Need
A well-funded industry disruptor needed a manufacturing partner who could produce their innovative permanent magnet generator that is used in alternative energy production. The client was looking for a partner who could provide instant manufacturing scale and expertise to produce up to 2,000 units per month, using their specialized manufacturing processes and equipment. A dedicated Mexico-based facility was required to provide cost transparency to all stakeholders.
After a competitive selection process, Rockit Motors was selected to establish a focused factory in Mexico.

Rockit Motors secured an additional 30,000ft of manufacturing space immediately adjacent to their existing production facility and invested $1M to configure the facility to the client’s specific requirements. Our in-house engineering team:
- Optimized the design and manufacturing processes.
- Designed and fabricated custom tooling.
- Implemented a robust supply chain with a focus on localization to reduce supply chain risk and logistics cost.
- Scaled manufacturing from prototype to commercial production.
- Reduced the per-unit cost helping our client accelerate market penetration.
